I keep meaning to learn Go, the true game of masters. :p

How would we organise games? Is there a particularly useful online chess tournament program?
I remember there being some chess/games server people used a while back, but one of its downsides was a move limit or something.

There's a couple of nice free chess sites. I mostly use chess.com and lichess.org, but I'm sure you could find others. We would need both players in any given game to have an account on the same site.

Yeah, that one worked better for correspondence games. I'm envisioning more of a sit down for however long is necessary and knock out a game in one sitting (i.e. a time-control game with an online clock).

Been awhile since I played chess, online or off, but it was fun before (when I didn't rush my moves without planning ahead), so I'd be up for this.

I call being on the complete opposite side of the bracket than MC, playing him is annoying.

I'm pretty shitty at chess, but why the hell not. In.

It's not too late, is it?

Don't worry about your skill level, the best person so far is Madchemist who only claims to be "pretty solid", having only played 1500 hundred games in the last year.;)

In!

I may not be the best, but I love chess.
