To be honest I wouldn't have used Legendary Pokemon at all in the round-robin, and probably not even in the quarters if I thought I had a strong enough team. Even if it confers a slight extra chance in winning an early round, the effect of it being knocked out permanently surely outweigh the benefits. I don't see it being worth the risk. (I REALLY hope I haven't accidentally put a legendary pokemon into my first team :p )

It really depends on the legendary your using. Some with very good tying can probably survive these early rounds well enough but Dragon ground is not one of those. If it had come out against An Ice type it would get put back very quickly. Yeh I know all about legendaries with really bad typing.

Fun fact: I only used it because I didn't know it was legendary.

Looks like adding pokiemans to the long list of things I'm incompetent at.

I did add the Legendary Pokemon sign below the Pokemon's name and above their pokemon-types.

About the AAR style, I'm gonna keep it simple and informative until the the Semi's because I don't want to spend 6 hours per Match Day writing how each match progresses.

Alternatively, if everyone agrees, I can alter the rules for Game Day 2 onwards, where each player gets only to field 3 Pokemons and have a pool of 6. Less Pokemon, less time spent writing a minimally interesting AAR, a more fun experience for the host.

What do you say?

Nah 6 on 6 makes the battles more interesting and allows dramatic fight backs like the first game. Maybe keep one game per day with more detail than the last. Like the main match with others considered more secondary.

I would rather keep the 6v6, personally. Perhaps every now and then if there's a particularly interesting match-up, or one that you think has really good potential for a cool write-up you could do an AAR for it if you have time maybe. And then of course when it gets to the semi-finals do proper write-ups for each. However, you're the GM, it's your call.

So... when is this updating again? Anyone know?

I sent Jolt a pm yesterday, haven't got a reply yet. I'd say it's probably best not to get our hopes up :p

I would be interested in doing this sometime, if someone else will GM. Or maybe I could even do it, when I have time - not right now, though.

Shame, I was really getting into it too.
