I recently created a map and I keep getting the 'Outside Connection Needed' message. But it would seem that the CIMS can get in and out of town just fine. Business is importing and exporting goods - traffic is flowing just fine.
Is it because this interchange is outside of my playable area (starting tile) right now? I can buy other parcels of land right now, but I'd eventually like to upload this map - so I'm play testing it now. I have checked the map - all of the highways are flowing in the proper directions - there seem to be no mismatched one-ways or anything like that. I don't have a train station yet, but I do see both passenger and freight trains moving by on occasion. All of the network connections *should* be good.
There are no other Highway or Rail connections on this specific tile.
I'm suspecting it's that interchange - which sucks.. but I wanted to ask before I jump back into the editor and make all the changes necessary to move that into the starting tile...
I'm also a bit curious if it's just maybe because the Highway itself isn't actually anywhere in the starter tile - only a small portion to make the connections.
