I'm having an...interesting problem...
I am playing as Portugal in a Grand Campaign. The year is 1590, I am at war with China, and my allies are Nippon, Spain, and Ethiopia. Today, after resuming a saved game, and playing for a few months, the game freezes and I am presented with the message:
"Runtime Error
(The directory path to EU2.exe)
R6025
- pure virtual function call"
Clicking okay, EU2 then closes to the desktop.
Suffice to say, this overwhelms my rather limited computer skills. I've tried loading that save file a few times and a few different ones as well. They all freeze and present me with that error after some apparently random number of months. I've also noticed that the screen seems to "shiver" whenever EU2 is running. I can't recall any problems with EU2 prior to this.
I am using the US version of EU2 patch version 1.05
My specs are thus:
Windows XP
Intel Pentium IV 1.6 GHz
256 MB RAM
37.2 GB total hard drive space, 33.6 GB free
52x Liteon Cd-Rom LTN5265
I am uncertain as to the make and model of my Video and Sound cards...in my Device Manager I am presented with arcana beyond my ken...
Thank you in advance, o ye masters of troubleshooting.
