PDS is happy to present:
My name is: Johan Lerström
My forum nick is: JohanLerstrom
At Paradox development studio I work as: Programmer.
So what do I do, really – what does that mean? I make games.
I have worked on: Vicky2, Hoi3, Sengoku, CK2, Eu4.
Right now I´m working on: Super-Secret.
I have decorated my desk with: Grand Moff Tarkin.
My best party trick on the PDS Friday beer: I do a great Elvis on karaoke night, usually in duet with Regina. (Yes, Regina added that.)
My Hobbies: Making games, thinking about games, playing games.
Little known fact: Unlike most programmers I draw my own programmer art for most new interfaces I work on, and sometimes my hideous creations actually affect the finished look of the games, mostly however they don’t: The subtle shine on important alerts in EU4 started its life as a mad pink blob with a face flying in circles around the alert banner.
My best moment at PDS: First office multiplayer game I played was a bit into an existing game, I started as Norway without paying attention to the name of my ruler. After a while other players started accusing me of cheating my ruler so I looked at him and his name was Erik Lerström, the odds of that happening by accident are astronomically small, but I swear I didn’t cheat!
If I was a game character, I would be: I'm a game character already.
