So what do I do, really – what does that mean? I manage one of the games, most recently Europa Universalis IV, making sure various random ideas actually become a game.
I have worked on: Hearts of Iron 2, Diplomacy, Europa Universalis III, Victoria 2, Hearts of Iron III, Sengoku, EU: Rome and several expansions.
Right now I´m working on: Europa Universalis IV: Conquest of Paradise as well as secret projects.
My best game ever and why I like it: (that I did not create): The Civilization Series.
I have decorated my desk with: An EU4 beer bottle, an EU:Rome Bust and large stacks of papers.
My super power is: Crisis management
My hobbies include: Games and History
An anecdote about PDS: My first contribution to any of the Paradox franchises was when I was a beta for Europa Universalis II. Having recently read a book that mentioned how the elector of Brandenburg came call himself King of Prussia, I wanted to make sure the game represented the subject correctly (since I read one book on the subject, I was naturally a leading expert in the field
). I wrote and event and posted it on the forum and to my joy Johan included it (or a variant of it) in the game!
