At Paradox development studio I work as: 2d Artist
So what do I do, really – what does that mean? That means I’m doing all sorts of 2d stuff, the UI´s and their components, loading screens, portraits etc.
I have worked on: Europa Universalis IV mainly + some helping out with other projects.
Right now I´m working on: Secret project.
My kryptonite is: Cheese, a perfected cheese can literally bring tears of joy to my eyes and render me completely defenseless in my state of euphoria.
My personal motto is: The gift of fantasy has meant more to me than my talent for absorbing positive knowledge. - Albert Einstein. Cliché, I know
What else? Being a "finn" born and raised in Sweden there´s no end to the friendly bashing and accusations thrown at me here (Sweden and Finland has always had a traditional love-hate relationship) but I proudly stand my ground hehee. And just for the clarification, no, I do not carry a knife nor am I drunk most of the time either . Happy holidays and hyvää joulua everybody!
Little known fact about a Paradox Development Studio game: The treasurer advisor portrait from EU4 is based on forummember Commandante, a rl friend of mine, keep fighting the good fight bro!
My hobbies include: Lindy hop (I could write an essay here, but basically it’s what your grandparents dancing style back in the 30-40ies is called), painting and art (ofc, doh), board games, pen n paper, actually games in general, fantasy, sci-fi, history and politics.
My best moment at Paradox Development Studio: There´s many of them already, releasing EU4 was a big thing for me personally. Also, the Friday beers, a very cozy and relaxed way of ending a week.And also the fan gathering was awesome when I got to meet some of the Paradox Development Studio fans, specially this one guy who had flown over from Japan just so he could meet up and party with us, kinda epic.
