Bonus knowledge: No one in the office call me by name, everyone just refers to me as the Dane.

Not true. I say "danskjävel".

I have often heard it said that Swedes and Norwegians make fun of the way Danes talk, claiming that they can't get speak clearly enough to be understood by anyone.
If true, that must hinder communications. . . .
But "Hansson" is a Swedish name, no?

We whack him with a stick every time he says something in danish so it is slowly getting better!

I've lived my entire life in Sweden, though in Skåne which some people here in Stockholm refer to as Denmark. Then I also have danish heritage. My moms maiden name is Mikkelsen.

For Konge og Fædreland! Scandinavia shall once again be ours!

Kalla den änglamarken eller himlajorden om du vill....

Ok, now I just have to post this one as well. Remember, you made me do it.

A Dane I knew once said Swedes were seen as a little slow, and couldn't get jokes etc. Is it the case, Groogy?

I shouldn't say too much... Johan is sitting not too far away from me...

If a dane told the joke I'm guessing no one would get it.

How to spot a swede: Øjne blå og gule tænder :D

(Jeez my Danish is really rusty, I tried first then checked with Google Translate... was way off...)

They sound like Dutch people who wish they were Swedish

Hey now, leave the Dutch out of this...

Is that "blue(aka. black?) eyes and yellow teeth"?

Groogy, you're a cool guy. Now if only I understood all these Scandinavian jokes .

I think its probably better if you don't :D

So... what nationalities now work at Paradox?

Swedes
Scot
Pole
Dane
Dutch

No Irish? Pretty racist, guys...

If we want a bunch of drunkards there's plenty of locals we can hire.

I think Danes count as "mini-"irish in that regard, don't you think?

Say, do you people know "Scandinavia and the World"? It's an adorable webcomic about Scandinavian stereotypes (other countries too, occasionally), and you continue to remind me of it.

Yeah I read it all the time :) The author has a great sense of humour, especially since she is Danish

Are the Danes really considered the drunks of Scandinavia?

more usually, that would be the Finns

Basically:

Swedish: Blond, tall and handsome. Vikings!
Norwegian: Very humorous. much oil. wow.
Dannish: Drunk and a bit slow
Finnish: Drunk and wielding knives
