;( still thank you for answering. On a other note I don't know much about modding Paradox games so I wanted to ask what are your primary tools when scripting by which I mean language?

We use our own scripting language for things like our history databases, decisions, events and anything else that we need to script. It is a declarative language, similar to LUA in syntax. Essentially, if you know a little bit of programming, in any language, you will be able to mod our games :)

You were the first female dev, weren't you Solsara?

Nope. The scripter on Rome and Europa Universalis for instance was Anna Drevendal (who no longer work here).

There has been plenty of female developers before me, I cannot take credit for that :p
No, but seriously, when I got the job I actually replaced a girl named Anna. Don't know what she does now, but I heard that she got a bit burnt out after making all those provinces for Hearts of Iron III.

EDIT: Emu'd by Captain Gars.

The Witcher is fun indeed, altough I like Skyrim more

I play Skyrim as well, just bought all expansions + the original game for 14 euro on Steam although I have owned it since it was released, just didn't own any of the expansions. I like the story in The Witcher I and II better than Skyrim's, but I would like an open-world The Witcher game. I try to stay away from news about The Witcher III, I already know that I will buy the game when it is released and I don't want anything to spoil it for me. Just need to upgrade my hard drive and graphics card before that, I want a SSD hard drive and a graphics card that is younger than five years.

How come your forum badge is different from the others?

Also, TOTORO!!

When we released March of the Eagles, Adrenaline made it for us devs and I really like the look of it, brown and gold go well together. Perhaps I will succumb to peer pressure and change it to the regular, blue PDS badge someday, but not for a while :p

I have a larger, plushie Totoro at home, he guards my Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman books together with two Ravin' Rabbids and a Sackboy. He is my favorite character from the Ghibli studio, and I would love for a Kodama to join him.

Woah, a Eu:Rome statue of Caesar! :D

Btw, what kind of avatar is that?
Also why does it differ from the rest of the devs?

See this post:

Character automatically receives 5 cats when female, 40 and unmarried? ;)

That's a great idea! I'll talk to Tobias, the scripter responsible for CKII, and suggest it. Hopefully he has time to make it...

Looks natural. You should try wearing it more often! Reminds me of that day I saw a dude in a realistic templar outfit on the underground.

Well, it was only rented for the event, so I don't own it. If I find a similar one for a reasonable price someday, I'll buy it, if only to wear it to masquerades and Fan Gatherings :p
