Now that Paradox owns HBS, are there any plans to update the Golem Arcana app? A lot of folks spent a lot of money to support this game and HBS just kind of tossed it aside when they started their Battletech Kickstarter. It caused a lot of animosity towards HBS with a lot of players.

Any chance Paradox is willing to do the right thing with Golem Arcana? Either updating the app for Android and iOS again or open sourcing it so that the community can keep it going?

The handling of Golem Arcana at the end was a disgrace by HBS. They promised to release the app to a specific person for future support but failed to do so. Now it is unplayable on iOS and still shops around the world are selling it. I would like to see some progress here.

This game needs to be supported in some way or form, especially after all of the money spent on it by KS backers in the past and on new golems and expansions. Or at least sell the rights to it to a developer so that it can be relaunched.

A relaunch would be great. Open Source the server application, I'd be happy to host the game. The living world feature was truly awesome.
In the meantime, you are able to play Golem Arcana with an old Fire Tablet 7 (4th Generation),
In fact, I had a game night of Golem Arcana yesterday, so not all hope is lost.
the app is still available in the Amazon store. For a 4th-Gen Fire you will have to go to ebay (or other).the app is still available in the Amazon store. For a 4th-Gen Fire you will have to go to ebay (or other).

This is great news! I do have a 4th gen Kindle Fire! I am going to drag it out and my game and play this Sunday!

As far as I know we have no plans of doing anything with Golden Arcana at the moment (but I don't get told everything so I could be wrong :p). If this ever changes we'll make sure to communicate it for all to know.

@osc when you played the game via your Kindle, which I have and found that everything that I had made (armies and stylus) were still connected to the app! However, Did you notice that all of the tutorials and pre-made scenarios were no longer there? I remember logging in to the kindle wondering if the app still worked about a month ago and saw all of the scenarios were there, but now they are missing. What was your experience? TY!

UPDATE! I found the problem... certain filters were not selected and therefore not showing thhe scenarios!

Things changed. Apparently the post by the mod nails it. They are not going to do anything with the app.
The license for Amazon expired, so playing GA on an Amazon Fire tablet is not possible any more.
(Somebody needs a Fire 7?)

Did you test this? I was going to play it this weekend but didn't. I kind of wish I had. Will look into it tonight.

Tested just before I posted. You better check as well. The only option I know of now is to install an apkx of GA from Apkpure on an android device. (Sorry for being unspecific, I am not into Android at all.)
