Got me today the Aquatics, Necroids and Federations DLCs on GOG, and redeemed their serial keys in my Paradox account as I've done so in the past.

They all show up for me as owned on accounts in paradoxplaza
But when I start the Paradox Launcher they don't show up to install, only still as to buy.

I checked that I open the launcher with admin rights, and the anti-virus has an exception for it. I uninstalled the game, and reinstalled it, but to no avail.

What have I missed?

The DLC&Expansion tab of the standalone Paradox client, aka launcher v1, is unreliable. Please ignore that.

When you hit PLAY there you'll get the actual Paradox Launcher v2. What if any DLCs are missing from its DLC tab?

And what version of our client do you have? Current is 1.0-beta-75

The DLC tab of launcher v2 shows ALL DLC, including those I haven't bought yet, though those plus the recently bought are shown with a warning symbol "We were unable to verify ownership of this DLC".

The launcher v1 shows as version 1.0-beta-53.
Launcher v2 has 2021.9 in the left corner.

At least v1 seems quite out of date; thought it would update itself automatically. Clearly it hasn't, and that's most likely the culprit here.
What's the best course of action to update the launcher manually?

The launcher v1 shows as version 1.0-beta-53.
This will be the problem, I'm pretty sure - later DLCs need later client versions to run them. The client ought to update itself though.

What if you set it to run as the Windows Admin user?

The bootstrapper.exe was already set to always run as admin.
The paradox-launcher.exe so far hasn't, but I did so now and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

Both exe are set as approved in my anti-virus.

For the client cpatch.exe and paradox launcher.exe are in c:\program files (x86)\paradox interactive\launcher\ by default. bootstrapper.exe and cpatch.exe are also in c:\program files (x86)\paradox interactive\bootstrapper\. They are all set to run as Windows Admin?

The client log files are in C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/launcher/ can we see those please. And the logs in C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/bootstrapper/

By now I've completely reinstalled everything, launcher plus stellaris. Made sure that both were properly deinstalled before and all remaining data purged from the system.

Launcher v1 is now beta-75 and launcher v2 gave an update note.
All instances of bootstrapper.exe, paradoxlauncher.exe and cpatch.exe that I could find were set to run as windows admin.
The exes as well as the launcher file paths are excluded in my anti-virus, if I havent forgotten sth. For good measure I once started the launchers with deactivated anti virus.

Problem still persists: Launcher v2 can't verify ownership of the newly redeemed DLCs.

I've attached the newest logs, made with the updated launcher.

Glad we got the client updated! Now log out of it then back in again, and do GAMES-REFRESH. Run this game again and check in its launcher DLC tab - any better now?

That did something!!
But not completely ..

Federations and Necroids both installed/updated and are showing up now in both launchers, ... but not Aquatics.

Already tried relog and refresh a 2nd time.

Edit: Same picture ingame btw. Halfway there! :)

Okay , that should be fixed now too - please try those steps again!

Yes, it worked! All owned DLCs now properly show up in the launchers. :D

Many thanks, Andrew, to you and the team!

Apart from the outdated launcher, on which I will keep an eye on from now on, where did the problem lie?
Was sth wrong with the versions I got from GOG? Some hickup in the redeeming process?

Actually it was to do with the way the DLCs are registered here. The bottom line is our client was only ever designed to run content purchased from Steam or our store, the fact that it works with GoG content is basically an accident. The assumption is you'd use Galaxy to run their games.
