Paradox Launcher v2 is stuck during login and I can't proceed.

I bought Europe Universalis IV and Hearts of Iron IV, Crusader Kingdom III on Steam last year. But yesterday it suddenly stopped working. There is no progress on the same screen as the screenshot for nearly 2 hours. I have no idea how to repair.

Is this after starting these games from their respective Steam Play buttons? Or are you starting the Paradox Launcher in standalone mode, from a desktop shortcut or Paradox Plauncher.exe ?

Desktop shortcuts and the Steam button are the first screenshots.
When I started Paradox Launcher v2, it looked like a screenshot. There was no EU IV and Hoi IV.
I tried the download, but it failed.

That's because those two games were never ported to the standalone launcher platform. CK3 was (so it appears there) but is no longer supported there. The point was to see if the launcher itself would run at all.

Quite why it connects okay that way but not when run from Steam I'm not sure. If you have a VPN try connecting with that, then run these games from Steam - is that any better?

If you don't have a VPN< connect via a mobile hotspot instead, for the purposes of this test.
