I use epic games and yesterday i got the Prison Architect game, when i go to play it i cant enjoy their new DLCs, the game says "there was a problem with the launcher update" what do i do?

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
Please try this:
- uninstall Paradox Launcher v2 from the Windows "Apps and features" utility, if still present.
Delete the following folders if still present:
- C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/
- C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Roaming/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer.
- exit the Epic app entirely
- run EpicGamesLauncher.exe as the Windows Admin user
- run the game from the Epic client
IF that doesn't help, in this folder are some .log files:
C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2/
Please attach them here.

This error means your computer is not on good internet time, which confuses our servers. Go into the Date&Time control panel and make sure Set Time Automatically is ON. Then hit the Sync Now button.
Then run the game again, the launcher will probably update itself now.
it really worked, the paradax updated but the DLC didn't work, I don't understand, I entered the game and everything was different, but when I went to create a new prison, it was the same as the old version, nothing new
Your DLC issue will indeed be unrelated to the launcher failing to update, as they are provided by Epic not the launcher.
Are they visible in your Epic account online?

I linked my epic account with paradox, logged into prison architect launcher with my paradox account, I didn't understand that part of "Are they visible in your online epic account?", but anyway, there's something that must be the problem, when I download other games, their icons appear in the shortcut, but prison architect doesn't have an icon in its shortcut :'(
I had already downloaded the prison before, I entered here and found a prison of mine from 2020, does the error come from that?
I'm asking whether these missing DLCs show in your Epic launcher or account, as you owning them.
I see that too, I believe it is cosmetic and unrelated with your DLC issue.
It will probably not be playable, but it cannot cause you to fail to see your DLCs in the game, no.
