Would have been the ideal Christmas present, though now all eyes are on PDXCON18 due to the lack of announcements in 2017. A PDS title should be expected but no promises or guarantees but it would be a safe bet.

The issue with Hoi4 is that you don't realize how broken it is until after you've invested a lot of time and money. There are some very simple things that PDS could fix that would make the game reasonably challenging.

Or you could play it in multiplayer against actual opponents instead.

MP with Hoi4 is not for 90% of people - too time consuming, too complex with need for "house rules", and too few players

The thing is, this is also basically true of many, many other games.

FPS games where the NPCs keep coming round corners to get shot? Broken.

RTS games where AI-controlled units zerg into your defence repeatedly? Broken.

Yet this isn't called "broken" typically because it's about what people expect for these genres. Why should strategy games be different? AI isn't that smart and won't be that smart until technology develops quite a bit further.

Yeah, I didn't want to be that guy in the thread so I didn't reply to their mars and other non core games... But I'm not really interested in those. No matter how many sandbox colony city games they make... I won't buy it.

But I been around long enough not to rage in those threads offtopic.

However, now that you brought it up..

I do want Vic3 and CK3 (because the mod and MP support is really needed with the HOI4/Stellaris engine)

Oh and a Pdox dev reads this... It would be nice if the launcher had mod folder or tags support that either auto downloads and enables all mods that server has or allows us to save the list on the fly.

Currently what we are doing is making collections on steam workshop and then uninstalling all our mods before we do MP and then just download the collection. Once you get past 20 mods, then its a pain for everyone involved to manually go through their list and check them off one by one.

I'm sure Gary's Mod won't mind if you steal their system.
