If you want to a better translation, do it yourself. My knowledge of Russian is frozen at a nine-year-old's level.:)

Gameland Online: How permanent is your partnership with Paradox? Which common project is next in line? What are the prospects of there being a "Legion 2"?

Snowball: The cooperation between Snowball Interactive and Paradox Entertainment has already lasted for over three years; during this time, several of our joint projects have come out in Russia and received high praise from gamers and press. At the moment, we are developing "Crusader Kings", a global role-playing strategy game; this time around, Snowball's role isn't limited to localisation but is rather that of a part of a joint Russo-Swedish team that's working their asses off right now as we speak.

"Crusader Kings" is a refinement of "Europa Universalis", but the focus has shifted from countries to individual barons, emperors, and counts; it will be possible to grow a dynasty of rulers who will reign over the whole world.

The action happens during the legendary crusades - 1066 to 1453 CE - the epoch of the battle of dynasties over might and wealth, the time of Inquisition and of posh royal celebrations. In the game, many interesting nuances are tied with the character traits of historical figures of whom each hero will control fourteen, with the subtleties of diplomacy, with the unique heraldry, and with the various quests. The release date is tentatively set to the end of this year.

...blah blah blah...

...HoI is being localised...

...Legion 2 is likely...

Hmm, the Russian previewers are just as goofy as the English ones.:)

hehe, pretty good translation this one :D. when we have the time for the site, we will upload the press scans. the last interview was quite good (Igromania), they are normally very unbiased and this time we got the cover caption saying "Crusader Kings: the revolution of strategy genre" :).

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!!!

The latest issue of Navigator is out this morning, CK is on the cover (and the mag's all over the place!!), quotes from the preview go like "this looks like a revolution" and "the game holds a tremendous potential"........... yahhoyikes! Now back to work......., v. v. happy :D

Well, some congratulations might be in order here then...:D

Let's hope we are as satisfied as those journalists...;)

(or was it a good old Russian bribe that did it??:D )

Well the cover looked good. Don't know what the symbols mean but it looked promising.:)

Does that mean that there are 14 character traits for each historical figure? Or that each hero (hu?) will control 14 historical figures or.....

PS: Link doesn't seem to work. Or maybe it's just me :(

Looks like 14 traits for each character.

It's 14 + 1 Traits I think. Borealis and Greven are talking for over an hour in the conference room by now, maybe I should tape this and upload here... ;)

No screenies in Navigator. There will be screenies in the magazines next month though. And mebby after beta Ruler of the North greenlights screenie-a-week or something.

1-2 screenies a week a fine with me.

Oh, I'm looking forward to 'comment' them...:D

Had we only beaten u at Poltava, we'd have the article in Swedish and for everyone to understand, since the world would be Swedish! :D
