When I have a unit in a province controlled by me, but owned by the enemy, and I click 'create new unit' the very useful "partisan warning" box comes up, even though there are no partisans. There is no combat, and there are no partisans at all.

I'm going to assume this is a bug.

When you split an existing unit?

This worries me - I thought this was fixed. Did your patch work 100%

EDIT - just wondered. Was this a continued 1.02 game?

It happens when I split an existing unit, and when I deploy a new unit to occupied provinces. This was not a continued game; I started it new.

Everything else seemed to work just fine, except for an un-repeating CTD.

I have this happen to me all the time in 1.03. Whenever I'm in an enemy province that I now control, and create a new unit from an existing unit, it acts like there are partisans appearing in the province when it's just my own units.

This is a fresh game with 1.03 installed.

I'm not sure if I'm having the same problem or not. I'm playing Japan GC (1.03) and am attacking Korea (no kidding). I have only got 2 provinces left to liberate, but partisans are still popping up in areas I've controlled for 7 or 8 years now. In a couple of cases they pop up 20,000 strong (not 10,000). I have defeated the partisans in each province at least three times over (I thought they were to only spawn once).

I will re-load my save game and see if it happens when I move or split armies.

I haven't seen it this bad in 1.03, I was hoping it was fixed but...

Oh well
