I have, I am waiting on him to email me back, he lives in Texas and was here visiting, bought it off GG, installed it and I was not worried about the code at the time. next time i will remember it, guess i need to wait until he emails it to me. i was just hoping it was out there some where else not just here but i do understand the need to stop software pirates, sucks they mess every thing up for people.
I know I have already commented on this post, but I have downloaded and installed the new patch and am currently playing my first game (Germany - 1933). It is the fall of 1936 and I am enjoying it immensely. Good job on the added features and tweaks. I was pleasantly surprised by several things.
I cannot express my gratitude to the team enough. I have this week off and the new patch came just in time! You guys (the devs) are the greatest! Keep up the good work, and thanks for not losing your patience with all of the complaining in the forum. As far as I am concerned, your efforts have given me many hours of enjoyment - a few bugs here and there are pretty small potatoes.

Basically the same problem for me except there is no getting the registration code since the family member who bought this for me is no longer with us. So basically I've got no choice but to purchase a second copy of the game. Needless to say I'm frustrated and very angry. But oh well, it only affects me so big deal.
Hardly going to ruin you.... we should all consider buying it again to support the development team.
Normally no, but I'm about 2 steps from homeless at the moment. Anger and frustration will pass, and eventually I'll probably buy another copy. Just... annoyed right now.
I have installed the patch and get "Iron Cross 1.05 Beta 4" with a checksum of WQXY: does that sound right or have I screwed up somewhere? This is an AOD installation.
Should I install this patch over AOD 1.05 or 1.04?

It will be better on AoD 1.04.
Checksums for armageddon is not very easy to have the same, because with the installer, every option you change, change the letters.
For AoD, I can't give you mine because I always edit it in order to make tests. Perhaps someone else can help you in this way.
I understand the issue with the checksum, but is it correct that it described as "Iron Cross 1.05 beta 4"? I installed on top of AoD 1.04
I have not yet installed the patch; will it be save-game compatible? I think the general answer is always no, but I figured I'd ask before installing.
Lol next time your friends buy you a $10 game remember to get your registration code. But anyway its like 50% off anyway now, so just buy a new copy...
I plan on buying a new copy on Saturday if my friend does not email me my code by then, I guess it is the thought that counts. Normally for all my other games I can download the patch for just about any where not just a forum but I do love this game and I understand the need.
I've been waiting for the patches release before buying the game, looking forward to giving it a whirl tonight. Cheers!
edit: just noticed the post about AoD 1.05. Will there definitely be problems if I use 1.05? It would be a shame not to have all the latest fixes.

Go to your Gamersgate acount. It wil be their, unless he bought it on his.
