patch 1.01 problem....

I cant install the patch.

it couldnt found the game.

I have reinstalled the game.but its not working

any ideas?

Different countries/regions have different versions of HoI. If you have the patch for a different version of HoI it won't work. So that could be your problem. Check and see who the distributor of your game is, and try going to their Web site. If they are on the ball they will have their own version of the patch. If they don't have anything, Paradox ought to have all of the different patches here on their site, but you'll have to figure out which version is the one you need.

Who is the publisher of your game. eg. Stategy First, Pan Vision ...

Who is the publisher of your version? Did you buy the North American version that is published by Strategy First, or the Swedish version published by Pan Vision? The patch you download and install depends on who published the game. If your not sure which one you have try downloading both patches and see if either of them will work.

Then the patch you want is the NA version. Download then run:

http://www.paradoxplaza.com/files/patches/HoI/HOI-Patch-1.01-NA.exe

That should do it for you.
