Patch 1.09 GG version = COMN? Also song problems...UPDATED!

UPDATE

When you apply 1.08 --> 1.09 GG version you get checksum = COMN <--- Something is not right in here...

When you apply CLEAN INSTALL --> 1.09 GG version you get checksum = XJSG

Gamersgate version, updated from 1.08(JQDK) and gets COMN too.

EDIT
The current GG "clean install" version is 1.6, which also gives COMN.

Updating from 1.4c gives XJSG.

Same problem as OP.

GG version, updated from 1.08 and got COMN as checksum. The Republic seems to work as does the Mediterranean Portraits but Songs of Prosperity does not.

When looking at the dlc folder the dlc023 does NOT have a .dlc suffix as the other dlc's do. Could this be the culprit here?

I can confirm that current GG "clean install" starts av 1.06 (YYEV) and updates to 1.09 (COMN)

Would that I had a version of 1.4c. I may be mistaken but I'm pretty sure that downgrading via the patch linked in a post isn't the ideal way to get there.

Same and when I try and install The Republic I exited it restart but there was an error message that said there was a failure to create some graphics thing and the republic is not installed.

Thank you. I failed to specify Mac version. Do you have a link to the Mac GG 1.4c? Mac GG 1.6 + 1.9 patch still = wrong checksum.

I too have GG's 1.09 with COMN. The Republic seems to have installed properly though.

All three DLC's are working fine, the problem is that GG's 1.09 has checksum COMN while Steam's 1.09 has XJSG.

Unless there is a fix upcoming, will this prevent me (running GG version) from playing multiplayer games with my friends using the Steam version? :huh:
