Strange, i tried to unistall, re-install, patch 1.1 is ok, everything ok.

Uninstall following the instructions in the sticky thread on the subject.
Then fresh install from CD and then just apply the 1.2 patch.

Yea I have the same problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and it still does not work. Is there anyway to just get the files from the patch and copy and paste them into my folder or anything? I am head of a semi-big mod and I feel we will lose the edge if I am not privy to the 1.2 patch. Any help is appreciated.
Well that may explain it, your mod most likely is the cause. Did you have two copies installed?
Follow the uninstall instruction in the sticky thread especially the registry cleaning, then install from CD and then just the 1.2 patch. When you install make sure it is to the default drive and directory.
BTW your signature violates the signature rules, It goes way over the 10 line limit including blanks. Please fix that up.

I don't know what happen
But since I uninstall Vicky and CK, its happen in HoI2 problem of updatin.
As I said. I tried to unistall and re-install.

Did you manually uninstall and make sure you wiped the registry of all entries reated to HOI2?
I've done all of that and it doesnt help. I have none of my mod files installed on my game and just play vanilla HOI 2. It is really incredible that this is the only help I can get (if you can even call it help) is to uninstall and then reinstall. I told you, it doesn't work. My computer performance is optimum and i defrag every Sunday night. I also run weekly anti-spyware, ad-ware and trojan scans. My computer and other games I have runs fine however I encounter problems when trying to update to 1.2. I am kindly asking for you to send me the files that come with 1.2 or whatever it is so that I can manually copy them into their respective folders. I would be most grateful.

Clear your internet temp files, delete the patch and download from a different site.
Then uninstall reinstall and apply the new 1.2 patch.

All of those things are done and still....
Nothing.
I am asking kindly for the files so I can manually update every folder. I dont want to be a nuisance but this is the only way. I'm not the typical computer illiterate person who comes on here, I head a mod, I know how the game works and I know how a computer works. I dont want to sound like an asshole, its just that from my POV this is the only way to get my game updated.

We do not release individual files.
Am am willing to work with you to solve your problem but it is clear something is messed up with your registry.
Wipe all files and folder associate with the game from your system.
Follow closely the uninstall instruction.
Do a fresh install from CD. DO NOT attempt to install any patches.
Rather take the CD out of the drive and then back in so the auto program runs.
Tell me what options it gives you.
ie does it ask if you want to install the game or play the game or what.
I want to see if it recognizes that the game is already installed.

I may have realized the problem
I play the game based from a folder, not from an icon or anything like that.
I lent my HOI 2 disc to a friend who is currently away and thus I was hesitant to reinstall the game and wipe my old folder but did it anyways and then got the folder sent to me by that friend using WINRAR and extracting the game, it took a while but I got it. I have to play it from a folder which I extracted using WINRAR not using the installtion or anything since I deleted that registry. If there is a way to somehow install the game from the folder I would be most helpful and I think that may explain some of the problems.

Um You have just admitted to Piracy, A very serious matter on this forum, especially when it bears on a Paradox product.
