I've not played for a while (not since I got a little frustrated with a line of sight/choice of charge target problem). Maybe its time to fire this game up again. Thanks for the pointer to the latest patch Norb. 
Does this patch solve any problems of the game not running at normal speed? My computer isn't the greatest, but it is higher than the minimum requirements, and I tried to alter settings to accomodate it, but it still cannot play.
If you are talking about the bug where the game runs way too fast, then no. We have not been able to find that bug in that we do not have any dev or test machines that have that bug. There are only a handfull of people, about 4, that have seen that bug and we have not been able to isolate the connecting thread.
