Patch and mouse problems

Pse can anyone help with the following:

1. English Patch

Have downloaded the patch on several attempts and keep getting the following message "contents of file cannot be unpacked .........The executeble you are attempting to run has been corrupted"

Have tried overiding the patch with new download - still no go. Have tried to delete file and it flags up file cannot be deleted.

2. Mouse Problems

Ever since I have installed this game my mouse pointer has started to play up. The pointer either sticks or is lost, this not only happens with the game but my pc as a whole.

Update your video drivers. Make sure you have Direct X 8.1 or better.

Have you rebooted your computer before trying to delete the file? If the operating system thinks the file is in use it won't let you delete it. Rebooting should clear this up. (I see this happen sometimes transferring files over a buggy local network).

You should really post these in the Support forum since they don't seem to be bugs in the game.

Many thanks for your help.

I downloaded an update on my graphics driver and therafter everything worked correctly.

I did not try to install patch but after graphics update was able to delete the patch and re- downloaded and then installed patch.

Everything now works correctly.
