I am reinstalling CK and was wondering if I need to install the patches before I install Deus Vult.

Not sure if it's a requirement. But, I installed on top of the GamersGate version (version 1.05), so I assume it's the correct version to install over. I have experienced no crashes in about 4 hours of play.
