Hi

While I am a new member of this forum, I have owned and played EU2 for some time, but have been playing consistently off the original retail version, and consequently suffering quite significant CTD bugs.

I have been aware of the new patches for some time, but without an internet connection at home have not been able to take advantage of the benefits these offer. I do, however, have an internet connection at work (where I am writing from now), and one of those pen drive USB drives, and am therefore well placed to take advantage of both and bring my version up to date. BUT, work are a step ahead, and have, quite reasonably, disabled the download of .exe files to stop people installing programs onto their own machines.

Is it possible, therefore, for some kindly forum member to put patch 1.08 (UK version) onto a server as a .ZIP file (or even to rename it as a .PDF, or indeed anything other than .exe) and email me the link so that I can update my EU2 experience?

I am coming into work again tomorrow (yes... I'm sure you all feel for me working over the weekend), and would be very grateful if some kind soul could make this available until then for me.

Thank you in advance,

u.

You are not likely to have that happen here on the official board.
You could ask on one of the fan boards though.
http://www.languish.org/forums/index.php?
That may not appear to be a Paradox fansite, but all the users there came from here.

Some kind soul may come along though.
Note that you would only need patch 1.08 since the beta patches are not exe, but you need to have applied 1.08 first.

If all else fails you could try a library or internet cafe, some other public access location.
