I am having trouble with installing the latest patch (not beta), I have just bought this game and when I went to unzip/install the patch in my Victoria folder, it seemed to work. But when I went to play the game, it would get to initiallizing something and then have some sort of error and close. Could you please tell me how I could download/install the patch correctly so that it will work?
 
The 1.03 patch comes as a self installer called Victoria_[LANGUAGE]_103.exe

All you need to do is download it and run it. It should automatically detect where Victoria is installed and update it.

It would be helpful if you could tell us what the error message says when it crashes and exactly how far into the load the game gets.
 
Okay let's try some standard things.
1) Rename the AVI folder to AVI_back
2) Set the color depth to 16BIT
3) Turn off everything in the background like E-mail/ICQ/Messenger, Virus protection and everything in the system tray beside the clock.
