Patch not working with swedish 1.02?

Patch 1.03 not working with swedish EU2 v1.02?

The patch does not work for me. I have the "swedish release" v1.02 and when I run the patch from 1.02 to 1.03 it says "game not installed". I installed the game just three days ago and have not added anything to it after that. The game is installed on partition E: and the Windows version is WindowsXp Professional if that has any relevance.

Addition: I just made a clean installation after I made sure all files had been removed, but that did not help. I will not play the game until I get v1.03 in there, and it hurts.

Ah, I just read in this thread "http://www.europa-universalis.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=27677" that the patch downloadable from Strategy First is not compatible with the scandinavian release. Please get this information up fast or lots of people will have the same problems.

It would seem fairly logical and obvious to me that you have to download the patch from the publisher of the game you have. Or is that just me?

No, not really. Especially not when it is not in any way a "localised" game. And lastly there was no direct information about it. But now there is in this part of the forum anyway. I feel that I've done what I can for the issue. Something that others should have done before me, but I don't say this in any kind of disrespect, just as a fact.
