Ok after half an hour of running the simulation and trying to deal with global deathwave I noticed one thing. After turning on outside city services to help with deaths, I also pay over 10 millions in outside police and fire departments, each. And I don't need that. So, deciding which service is up for import is definitely a thing I'd like to see, because right now all of them take more than half of my total spendings.
Hopefully in autumn update.

I've played for about an hour (new city), and really been struggling with the budget (mainly because I was trying to rely on my own power plants), while not worrying about stupid high rent issues. THIS IS AWESOME THANK YOU SO MUCH. The simulation is SO. MUCH. BETTER.

I thought so, too. But they put it under Economy update, like that is how it's supposed to work. Be honest, put it under Performance and rephrase it as "Reduced/removed checks for unprofitable companies to move"
They already did, sort of. They made it so unprofitable companies go bankrupt, which means those companies will be gone, and be replaced with a new company.

I wanted a challenge, I got my challenge :) New city, 65pop

all criminals having the same pathfinding result to queue up to do crime.
Oh I wish I saw that
I have a feeling this means crime probability rate will likely go up. These queues must have been virtual I guess because I never saw lines of crooks waiting to rob gas stations ()--but if criminals were previously queuing and now they aren't then it means ALL criminals have more opportunity to perpetrate crime wherever it may be statistically probable.

Ok why my buses all of a sudden decided that following the route is not their cup of tea? Instead of going along the drawn route between stops, they took a random narrow road to navigate through?

Is it normal for high school teachers to be paid more than college teachers?View attachment 1152750
I don't know about other places in the world, but in the U.S. at least it's not unusual. High school teachers are likely union jobs often with tenure--whereas university tenure positions have declined over the decades. Most university teaching positions are part-time and hourly -- per course taught -- with many instructors not even able to obtain full time positions (and thus no benefits). In the U.S. we value having a great education but don't really value the work of the people who make learning possible.

Why can't mods work after an update? Users shouldn't have to get pissed whenever a patch is applied.
With CS1, they had this down pretty well by the time they got to Sunset Harbor and Airports.

BUT... you gotta keep in mind the modders aren't getting paid. They do what they do out of love for their craft and the community. And with a patch this massive that is revising core elements of the simulation we really need to give the modders (extra) time to review the patch and figure out how to rewrite/revise their code.

If you're really desirous to play, why not leave your old save for a week and start a new city vanilla? That will let you mess with the updated simulation while the modders do their stuff.

I loaded my 665 save of the city, and all works pretty well... Just added a ton of crematorium and let the simulation run... Also adjusted the tile upkeep with 529 tile mod to 50%, because I have all tiles unlocked and was draining my money. The first 1.1.5 version save, is the 666... Lol.

At first the simulation have a hard time, 0.2x speed, but after some minutes, started to run OK again.

Give the simulation time to adjust to new values.

Some mods are broken always happen, but only a few of them.

Cheers.
