We're looking into what we can do to reduce the wait so you will receive these important updates as soon as possible. That means we don't have a time for when it will be available on Microsoft Store, but we'll let you know as soon as we have an update.
Why does this takes so long?

As a developer myself MS updates usually are minutes and maximum 24 hours. Not a whole week like the last patch.

We paid the same as Steam users. (I have the non gamepass pre order version)

Hi everyone. We have another hotfix for you today with improvements and bug fixes, see the list below for details. The patch is going on out Steam today, and we're working on bringing it to the Microsoft Store as soon as possible.

Please note! With existing save games, most simulation fixes require the simulation to run for a while to take effect.

  • Increased leisure probability to balance the "No customers" situation with commercial companies
  • Improved balance of companies' profit
  • Tuned down companies ordering input resources when their storage don't have enough space
  • Fixed trade resource bug preventing some resources from being consumed
  • Fixed miscalculation in college/university eligible count
  • Improved conditions for companies to move away when bankrupt
  • Fixed a dependency error with land value causing potential instability
  • Fixed an issue where loading a new map would cause water state to get out of sync with the save data
  • Slightly increased Windows emission intensity
  • Optimizations for area lights
  • Prefer rendering small objects after large ones when possible to improve GPU performances in some cases
  • Improved shadow LOD calculations to cull irrelevant shadow casters earlier
  • Reduced situations where trees and alpha clipped objects would lead to virtual texturing space running out
  • Fixed citizens hanging around at park areas on regular building lots never getting inside the building
  • Decreased resolution of unnecessary large character textures
  • Removed Spasm radio ad (due to offensive content)
  • Added missing localization ID for Paradox account linking

First of all thank you for your job, amazing game you created!

Second one, please release this update at the same time as Steam, it's a shame we canno't have acces to news updates. I called Microsoft/xbox asking for this and they said is not their problem.
Third one when could we have acces to props, assets and mods?

Fourth one please when you release regions DLC's add smaller schools, high schools, superior schools, universities, fire house, police station etc... in my opinion, in Europe we don't have high schools as big this game has. specially social services building it is huge, it looks like a headquarters of social services instead a normal building.

Last one I know you had a lot of work with this game and we aprecciate it!

Guys! FIX THE CRASHES! The game is non stop crashing when it's not limited to 30fps, and still crashing at 30fps.

The game is literally crashing entire systems to reboot.

Yeah it's starting to really piss me off, no responses from anyone official on the support thread, there are videos places with people offering fixes to Nvidia cards to limit FPS to reduce crashing (mine still crashes). Those videos even reference the people who are getting BSODs because of this game. So it is widespread enough. I've given plenty of log files and there have been an alarming amount of people noting that the game (and ONLY this game) crashes their entire PC when framerate isn't restricted. When it is restricted, the game still crashes with the same Unity errors, just without the BSODs.

After two patches, it's starting to get extremely infuriating to not get so much as an acknowledgement of the issue even with clear logs provided. $90 game!

They're more worried about removing "offensive" content from the repetitive in game radio than fixing game breaking crashes. If it's being worked on, we'd LOVE to know, because for $90 and a game that crashes, and to see it's more than just my system as others are reporting the same errors, that's pretty lame. I've given a lot of trust to the devs over the years for their liberal view on mods and their love for this genre, but damn do I feel like that trust was wasted now.

I doubt this is true. They’re probably more worried about the crashes and performance issues but most of those will take some time and effort to fix. The potentially offensive ad was likely 60 seconds to delete an audio asset from the game files. Those 60 seconds weren’t going to fix crash issues or give anyone another 20 FPS

Yeah I'm just really frustrated about it, so I'm latching onto anything I can to make the point. It's likely they're looking at fixing certain crashes and it takes time of course, but acknowledgement that it is an issue is extremely important, because if we go through months of this without any sort of communication, and we get more patches but the game still crashes on these systems, or causes BSODs, then it's going to be incredibly angering and make people feel like they're being completely ignored on what's an obvious issue.

A lot of folks are blaming the hardware, but it's a widespread issue, and it's ONLY with CS2 on every one of these systems based on the reports I've read. We need help, and it's just really annoying to play the game for 10-15 minutes and have the computer just completely restart.
