I really don't understand why people are disagreeing with me about asking to provide me a config so I can revert a change that turned my realistic city into a dystopian police state where no one is jaywalking (something that isn't even a crime where I currently live)
Personally I don't disagree about asking for options, even though I see it in the exact opposite way as you (I like when I use traffic control tools and they actually work, but maybe that's just me). I disagree about it being realistic before this patch. Jaywalking was one of the most reported issues because it was clearly out of control, it simply made removing pedestrian crossings a useless feature.

That's just how it works in reality too. I'd really like to have this jaywalking behaviour, especal ly since jaywalking is a perverted construct invented by the automobile industry of the mid 20th century US car craze.

Yes, I was referring to how it was in the game before the patch, I did't mean that it should be removed completely. You could see crowds of people all crossing the street at the same time blocking traffic and whatnot, which is far from what you see in reality. It was clearly a pathfinding bug. Fun fact: we don't even have a word for jaywalking in Italian, that's 100% US carbrain mentality.
