Seems like my cims use parks now, before they were always empty.

I guess it has to do with "fix for pedestrian access on mulitple assets"

Really happy, even if I am disappointed with the launch and the current state I am still confident that in the future this game will truly shine when it will be polished and more stuff will be added

Okay, that was longer than I expected. Nice work.
Unfortunately the open MP beta for Broken Arrow is coming out in a minute, so I won't know for a while how much the game is improved :p . But great news either way.

They're invisible paths that you can't see, generated when you build the building. I haven't rebuilt mine yet either, waiting on the post patch chaos to die down a bit.
When they are fixed and generated when the building is placed, then it needs to be rebuilt. I'd like however a confirmation before I'll go for a rampage mode. I have 8 stations and train routes, etc.

Glad to see continued progress on the PC version. Can you throw a bone to console players. Since the release of the CS2 on PC CS1 for console has no more support and is so bug heavy I stopped playing. I’m not asking for a release date or estimate for CS2. Can we get a progress update? I see the response of “we are continuing work on the console version”. Continuing work does not equate to progress. How much progress has been made? Are you in a better place than October when the delay was announced. Are you still shooting for Spring and how confident are you on that? Can we get the bugs fixed on CS1 console? Console player are losing faith. We need something besides just “we’re working on it” Thank you.

I don't know why, but after the update the simulation speeds are even slower than before, especially on levels 2 and 3.
Is that still the case for anyone else?

@co_avanya Could you please clarify if cargo stations need to be destroyed and rebuilt for pathfinding fix to work? I am asking about this: "Cargo station pathfinding update to reduce traffic jams when accessing the buildings." Because my cargo stations behave exactly the same as before the patch and the fix as not related to a specific building but rather an algorithm that should work dofferently? Or are those wrongly calculated paths still there, "rememebered" by the building?
So, to test it out I rebuilt 3 of my cargo stations and I don't see much change. The flow of cars around and "in" them is the same, the jams are still exactly the same. Also, the trucks still mostly use 3rd gate from the left. What observable change should we see here?

Pretty nice patch that fixes quite a few performance issues. I think the worst is behind us. I'm getting between 30 and 50 FPS with my i7-13700K, 32GB RAM, and RTX 3060 12GB. The latter is being used at 95/97% and 6GB of RAM out of 12.

I don't have enough hindsight for the other bugs yet, except that I no longer see stray dogs in train stations. The game seems to be working better overall.

I'm not sure if I'll want to play much more because it's rather boring as a player. Lack of challenges, assets, and fun features that I hope to see ... in the coming weeks.

Well this is a surprise, I'm very glad to see that someone decided to change their minds about keeping folks waiting.

I can end my boycott on playing now.
What even? They never said that. People have really gone wild on their theories after probably not reading the WotW correctly. They said the next standalone patch is incoming - and here it is. The next patch comes with the modding support beta, which is March.

It seems the left entrances of the Cargo Train Station are removed, which were being utilized in my city since trucks can be guided to leave there instead of sometimes crowded main entrance.

Well Sim Speed improved, followed by the most massive traffic jam I've ever seen in history. A solid 10 KM of trucks
Running better, performance-wise, than before they spawned, though.

so which buildings exactly need to be replaced in current saves for the fixes to apply?
The fixes that are related to the pathfinding are hopefully obvious because the buildings show up with no connection icons. I also suppose the cargo station will have to be rebuilt. Others may be more subtle and hard to find. One nice feature would be if you could highlight current assets that have been updated or just auto-destroy them.

yeaj, cargo hubs is what i gathered as well, but what about high schools for example? I mean, it doesnt really concern me because i start a new city with each patch anyways but if i had a big city running and so many changes in a patch, it would be nice to know which buldings are affected, just a list with bullet points would be ok i think.

So many repairs but it seems that subways and trams are still stuck at the stops....
Not sure if it was design or a work around.... but this is how to fix/avoid the problem.

This happens when the stop is too close to a node (a break in the "piece" of road/rail that it's on. The work around/fix is to use your bulldozer to highlight the section of road/rail and see how close the stop is to the end of that piece. If it's somewhat close, either move the stop more to the center of the piece, or deleted a couple of the pieces of road/rail and re-lay it in 1 longer segment. They won't get stuck and they won't disappear this way.

Land value won't decrease to 0 even with heavily polluted land.
Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?
There should be land that actually NOBODY wants, forcing you as the major to fix the ground pollution.

Good to know, well I guess I'll playing the game end of 2024 then ... when hopefully the underlying simulation has been fixed (aka the safeguards have been removed) and all these severe bugs fixed.
AND I have not to worry that I have to rebuild half my city to ensure my city is actually working after all the bug fixes!!!!

Same here, cars travelling at speed 0.000000000000000000000001 km/h and changing speed does nothing. pedestrian are as fast as cars. city has 500k inhabants , but they are all out at the same time, i think
