Patch order and install dirs

Ok everytime in install HoI2 + DD + Arma iam really really confused.


Ok so i install HoI2 after that DD and Arma.
Every "game" gets a unique Directory.

After that i patch. Dont know if every patch has the content of the previous patch so i install everything.

HoI 1.1 check
HoI 1.2 check
HoI 1.3 half check because it installs some files into the Armageddon dir
HoI 1.3a whoho "You already have version 1.3.0.0 this installer will now exit" Well it wont because after that it installs data into the Arma dir.




HoI DD 1.1 installs stuff into the Arma dir
HoI DD 1.2 same as 1.1
HoI DD 1.3 same as 1.1 and 1.2
HoI DD 1.3a and again the same


Working as intended?


HoI Arma 1.1: installs into the right dir i guess but i think the whole dir is in a bad mess right now.

Install DD.
Install Armageddon.
Patch Armageddon with 1.2.
Patch Armageddon with 1.3 beta (optional).

They all go into the same dir (default is Program Files\Doomsday).

If you have Anthology then Armageddon is a stand alone.

Well i planned to play C.O.R.E. for which i need DD 1.3a
And as i own Anthology i wondered how to patch and install things...

With Anthology every game is stand alone and the only patch you need is the Armageddon 1.2 patch and optionally the 1.3 Beta patch.

Once the games are installed you can install CORE on top of whichever game it needs.

EDIT: IS there not a CORE for Armageddon?

Ah i see. Well there is CORE for Armageddon but just 1.1 so i wanted to use the DD version vor 1.3 DD.

So in theory i just install DD and the latest DD patch, then install CORE and everything should be ok right?

The Anthology version of DD is already fully patched, you do not need to do anything except install it.

The DD version is already up to 1.3a? Huh thats new to me. Thanks a lot.


Edit: I just started DD and it says its Version 1.0
