i am not sure of who my publisher is, and all i can find is 1.03 and it says i dont ahve the game, which i of course do, what to do

paradox is the publisher. I went to the thread that lists the patches, downloaded everyone and none of em worked, plz help!
Paradox is not a publisher!, they are the developer. What other LOGO is on your CD? Where did you buy your CD? (what country) was it from a store or online...
A splash screen is when you start the game the little animation or movie that says the companies name.

only thing i see on splash screen or cd is paradox.... if the game is english what all patches could be the right one? ill just try em all..... THx for the help,

Here's the best bet, since it seems something has gone awry with your registry from the first installation...
1. Follow the uninstall procedure in the sticky at the top of the forum.
2. Now install HoI again
3. Since you say you're from the States you should have no trouble at all with the NA patch 1.03. If you do have a problem then the chances are that you bought a pirated version which will not patch and which, for understandable reasons, we will not support. You can tell this easily by looking at the top of the CD and then reporting back here what three logos you see there.

Ok, this is getting really strange.
1. Where did you purchase the game?
2. What did the box look like?
3. What logos can you find on the CD?
If you can't answer the above questions then I'm afraid there is nothing we can do to help you as we are not able to identify the version for you.

Its not pirated, i bought it at walmart, but i am bad with keeping track of boxes, manuals etc, i dont collect games, i play them lol....
btw, when i try to play multiplayer it has the default as europa.valkyrienet.com, duno if that helps
eh thats funny, i can't find HOI in my local store nor can i find it on their online store
We were asking about the CD, you mentioned above that you still had that. So what logos are on it? Paradox logo and what other ones?

Do a complete uninstall, see the Self help guide at the top of this forum and notice that #1 is a link with instructions on how to do this. Then do a fresh install and apply the NA 1.03 patch.

i tried the reinstall as instructed, no luck....
I now know i have the SI version, foudn the box...
It says i dont have the game, but i do. What does it look for to determine if i have the game or not? Because it is not functioning properly
