Patching problems

Hello All,
A few days ago I found a copy of HOI 2 at Circuit City and bought it. A friend had recommended it a year and a half ago. I found it interesting so today I purchased and downloaded doomsday & Armageddon from GG.
They worked fine until I installed the 1.3a patch and now I get a DB error.
Does anyone have any idea how I can get DD or Arm to work? Vanilla still works.

You have installed the wrong patch.

You must uninstall DD, see sticky how to do it.

Then install DD -> Arma -> Arma1.2 patch. The Arma 1.2 patch can be found in the DD forum.
