Hello there!
Some time ago I've bought the Polish version of Vicky (brought by CDProject), and last Friday I've bought Revolutions from GamersGate.
At first Rev wouldn't recognise my Vicky, popping up with a window saying V is not even installed. I googled arround on the intertubes and found a "registry patch" whose author claimed to cooperate with ths noble forum while working on it. After applying, Rev recognised Vicky, installed and...
... now I'm puzzled. It looks like nothing changed. The loading screen is still the same, no furious redcoat glaring at me, and everything looks like before. Trying to reinstall Rev gives the message that Rev is already installed, but i have no way of telling it is.
So my question: how can I check what it is that's actually on my hard drive now? Could this patch actually have worked? Is there another way arround the Polish version problem?
For now it seems, I'm left with a Schroedinger's Vicky...
