I think, it is just simple mistake somewhere in Steam, since news were updated, but files were not. We are trying to reach Steam, but they seem to be on holidays - so we wait as you do.
Why not provide a manual link for the update if it's Steam's fault?

Even a mediafire/rapidshare link would be fine if for some reason you could not host it at the official site for Warlock.
 
- The issue with the eternal missing/invalid file on a cache integrity check is well known, though Ive not heard this stopping players playing the game.

- The patch seems to have downloaded now. Says v 1.4.1.56. In game shortcut combos are visible so let the devs and Paradox know if you notice any "new" bugs or if any of the functionality is not working as intended!

Preferrbly log them in a "new" post or related post (if one already exists). These should be logged in the Tech. Support sub-forum preferbly.

And as before - dxdiag, savegames and game logs should be uploaded, where possible to speed up finding the issues at hand.

Let the Warlocking recommence! :D

A big thanks to Devs for this patch, especially considering the timing. I think it's an utter disgrace that any of you guys should feel pressure to work on Christmas day, to patch a video game. I sincerely hope you were able to do it from home. In any case, thanks again, your work is very much appreciated. Now forget the damn game and enjoy some New Year partying!

Hi, Not sure I follow you. The patch was announced pre-Christmas time, but wasnt uploaded till after.
Which bothered a few of our fellow posters.

I think it also bothered InoCo and Alexey.
Alexey was working on Christmas day to resolve the delay in Steam delivering the patch to us.
Alexey posted on this thread on Christmas day to that effect.
I know some posters were upset by the delay.
I want to say that also some posters were not upset by the delay. Some of us understood there was a hitch and we appreciated that InoCo and Alexey were making efforts on our behalf on Christmas day.
 
I'm on turn 125 of a new map and no crashes yet.

Awesome! I'm having fewer crashes myself. I used to get the occasional back-to-desktop crashes, seems they're all gone now. The only crashes I seem to get now with the new patch is when I quit the game, then I get to the desktop, but the game keeps running in a crashed state, and I have to ctrl-alt-del to fix it.
