Wait. There were no war between France and Russia, yes? So, why Russia keeps Congress Poland? Congress Poland was part of Prussian and Austrian partitions. If Napoleon gave Poland to Russia, it would be bigger and, probably, with autonomy (czar Alexander I liked Poles till the war with Napoleon, when Duchy of Warsaw joined Napoleon in war).

The Duchy of Warsaw was indeed independent by the time Napoleon won the Napoleonic Wars in this TL. However, a major war broke out in the late 1800s/early 1900s which effectively ended France's hegemony on Europe. They were not militarily defeated, but had to cede some concessions to Russia and Prussia (Germany, Poland,...) so that's why there is no Poland any more.
 
I'm announcing that I'm planning in changing the direction of the mod to something less ambitious. Due to some late unexpected RL issues I realized that I won't be able to accomplish this mod's premise. My plan so far was to work quietly and steady on this, but sincerely, I lost motivation because of the huge timeline to cover, which may result in high implausibilities which in the end would make the mod boring to play.

Still, the short development on this mod has allowed me to develop some new, fascinating and strangely beautiful (at least in my opinion) color scales for the map, which I'll indeed use in a future project and that I want to share with you, though I'll do it in another thread.

There's few content to release; otherwise I'd release it all for someone who wished to complete it. However, the scenario plate I made for the mod could be useful to someone else.
