Note: Look at the comment above flavor_fra.115.

I don't know about you, but I didn't know that PayPal somehow existed in EU4 timeframe and that the Pope had something to do with it. ;) Discovered this by accident while searching through Everything app (a shameless plug: great search app for Windows, by the way!) for historical_rival.

This is, obviously, a typo (or is it?! >;P) but, nevertheless, this is too good to pass up and not devote a large amount of time to laughing at Paradox for this. :D

Go ahead and spin some outlandish conspiracy theories about the papal connection to PayPal here. Do your best! ;D

I mean, what's wrong? All evidence is here, right before us.

"It's either pay me, or pay the burning-at-stake director, madafaka!"

Indulgences have gone too far!!

- Martin Luther, probably

New papal action "Expel money changers from the temple" when?

Bees don't fight against honey, so it's more likely for Jesus himself to be expelled from the temple.

Haha, keep those outlandish conspiracy theories and jokes coming in!

Do you think PayPal is the intermediary through which the countries in EU4 pay for buying indulgences from the Papacy? (insert the missing thinking emoji here... hint hint Paradox)

I mean, sure, there are those great Italian banks in the pope's proximity, but they must be just the cover for PayPal. ;D

Oooh, this must mean that Elon Musk (a co-founder of PayPal) is in fact an Italian! Wait... does that mean he is also connected to the Sicilian Mafia?

PayPay-Papal-Mafia conspiracy! This is just getting better and better. This must be what a game called Evil Bank Manager is about. Truly evil! Lol

:p
