Pdox exporter for Linux - Any help?

I succesfully installed the Paradox exporter under Win7. It works.
But I also have Linux (and I'd preferisco to use this Op.Sys.) Besides copy the plugins in the Linux directory, is there any other step to do to have it works? What I'm missing ?

have you tried using wine? This is what i've been attempting, but i've had no luck.

Just to close the thread, with a sad news, early I recognized that among the file of the pluging there is a ".mll" file that is a binary object (a sord of dll for maya )
For the pluging to work on linux, Pdox should release the same in ".so" format .
ATM. the pluging work on Windows only.
