When two alliance leaders make peace, shouldn't all their allies automatically be at peace with each other as well ?

France was leader ally of Savoy.
Spain was leader ally of England.

France declare war to Spain; Savoy joins France and England joins Spain.

France make white peace with Spain.

At that time, I (England) have to give back my control of Picardie to France but I'm still at war with Savoy and they still control my Calais ! :-(

Luckily, Savoy accepted a white peace the next month when my troops from Picardie returned to Calais and started the siege.

Did you try to make seperate peace agreements? They tend to screw things up.
