Recently I played my first long campaign. And by long, I mean that my normal runs are around 100-150 years, while this is almost a 1066-1453 one. After 300 years or so, I noticed the game was noticeably slowed down. It was by no means unplayable, but if you get around 15% threat every time you conquer a county and you have no administrative business to attend to, being able to speed up through years is quite useful. When, bored, I tried the Warhammer mod, things got even worst: I started with a very slow gameplay since the very first day.
Here is my PC build:
So I want to know if the slow down is normal or if a good enough PC can survive the increasing amount of characters and records piling up. And if the latter is true, are there any ways to improve performances (like the tree rendering one)? Moreover, buying an other 4 gb bench will make any noticeable difference (I plan to buy a whole new PC prob next year, so don't want to spend too much money on this)?
PS: sorry if I'm bad at english, it's not my native language.
