Playing on Ubuntu 22.04.1 After selecting 'Single player' instead of seeing the world map where I select the country to play I just see pink. This is after a fresh install of the game.
Graphics is nvidia RTX 3090. Driver is 550.54.15

Interesting, I can only recall seeing this on Windows so far, and even there only very very occasionally, eg:

The short answer is I don't know what causes this! Has the game ever worked properly on this setup ? Or always been like this?

There['s a slightly newer video driver, may as well try that

IF that doesn't help:

Please attach here your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Europa Universalis IV/settings.txt and pdx_settings.txt .
From your Documents/Paradox Interactive/Europa Universalis IV/logs/ folder, attach here system.log , error.log .

Also in Steam please click on Steam-Help-System Info, and paste everything there into a text file and attach that here.

Does it look the same for you as in the screenshots from the other threads? Are you maybe using proton to launch the game? You could check the compatibility tab of the eu4 properties in steam and make sure that the checkbox is disabled
