You probably need at least a new graphics card. If you tell us some specs about your computer hardware (make/model, cpu, ram, gfx card, windows version, ...) we'll be able to give more specific answers.
Same thing. I get this error message. Pixel Shader 2.0 not supported. This is my operating system:

That is below the minimum requirements for this game - it doesn't support shader model 2.0 and the game wont run without it.
