I have purchased the Mac c=version of CKII through Steam. I wonder is there a way to play the game while offline?
Simply navigate to the CK2 directory under your Steam directory and double-click on ck2.exe .
That's the question I was answering, wasn't it?
Yes, just making sure I understood.I thought I'd have to move the directory out of the Steam directory or something. Thank you.
Nope. Most games can be launched from its exe that has been bought from Steam without Steam being on. Only those that use their security aplications need Steam to be on. Crusader Kings II doesn't use it. Also just to note that it might be better to use the ck2game.exe as thats the launcher exe. You can make sure all the dlc's are active there when you launch your game. You can also chose mods there if you ever install one.
