Let’s say I want to play as a heretic character and convert my holdings, vassals, and eventually neighbors. I like how in-depth CK+ goes with heresies. In my current game as England -> Britannia. I saw France getting eaten alive. Why? Because the King and many vassals had converted to Waldenism. Then I saw the cool traits that Waldenism had given the characters and all the cools paths. Of course in the end, I wanted as much of France as I could take so I joined in the crusade and got Paris for myself. Also it seems that Ironcalst (spelling?) has become orthodox among orthodox Christianity with the Byzantines and the Armenians both embracing it.

My question is, whats the best way to get a heresy started in the realm and converting to it? I assume I want to play as a more powerful realm to withstand the coming crusades.
