My friend and I have been playing for quite some time. One player as German (taking MC of other Axis) and one as Allies starting with England then switching to the US. We have found that we really can not go on without the Allied player also controlling Russia (after they are attacked) due to the limited ability of the AI.

I have decided to get another cable line installed and plan on logging in as the Russians thru the second cable line. My friend is always the host and I will join as the allied and Russian player. Is there anything that I should be worried about. Given that I will have two separate cable lines I am assuming it will be business as usual (I will be using my wife's laptop which will be next to our PC). I will simply log on as normal with both computers one as US and the other as Russian.

Thanks in advance.

PS: This post was getting nowhere in the MP forum but, I figured it should be here as i is more a technical question than gameplay - sorry for the double posting.

Why not just make a small edit to refocus the battle?

Give UK more manpower and IC, Give Germany some more oil and maybe an edit increase on some ships.

There are plenty of ways to reblance it to a 1v1, playing as 2 Nations i could only imagine will disillusion you.

Having said that...... You could also edit Mil control of Russia to UK. You could also both of yourselves to define the Serial builds of you Allies and minors.

Plenty of options just depends how extensive your save editing goes.
