Just to say that I had crashes fairly regularly (latest build, no DLC), but starting the game through the Steam page and selecting 'Safe Mode' has stopped them. It does reset graphics to the lowest settings though. Just in case anyone hadn't seen the option (I only saw it by accident myself).
I've been having a lot of problems playing games lately because of my PC set-up (graphics and sound card etc all on the same IRQ channel I think is the root of it), so I was happy to find a setting that works.

Thx for sharing. Im not sure this will help everyone, but it may at least help a few people with constant CTDs - at least I hope.
It is worth trying to reset all video options to the minimum level play a game and see if it crashes. Then UP the settings one level at a time and play another game, until you get frequent crashes again.

In this way some of you may be able to find an "optimal" setting with which to soldier on until a fix arrives!

I've noticed my video card and sound card share IRQ 16 but I'm not too worried as this really shouldn't be an issue with modern ACPI aware hardware and OS. That said, I use a Xonar D2 and Asus' drivers are awful so perhaps it could be an issue. In the mean time I've disabled Aero and noticed that Warlock starts up instantly now instead of hanging on a black screen for 20-30 seconds...
