So yesterday we had heavy rains and storms, this resulting in internet connections and phone lines being down.
So far I was very happy with my purchase and was having fun with the game, but yesterday I had a unpleasant surprise.

The game works in offline mode, but it wants to verify all the DLC thus making all my save games incompatible. So the question is why is this so? It's the Collection with all content inside from the get go, so what's there to verifiy?

My question is can or will this be patched by Paradox or 1C?
It's a sad day when you are forced to look for cracks for a game that you payed money for.

It probably won't. But I agree with you. Not only you can install the game only on your steam account (can't be done on any other)
but they have to verify it! Isn't the thing with installing the game only on 1 account enough of ensuring that it's not pirated?
