Is there any mod that let you play as Norway from the beginning? maybe as a satelite state?...and if it is, is it possible to declare independence?

You can "mod" the GC by starting as Sweden, release Norway as satellite, save the game, then restart as Norway. You gain independence by going to war against your masters, or through having revolters bring your government down.
Its been a while since I played Victoria. How do you release Norway as a satelite?..it seems like Norway is a part of Sweden in Vic Revolution.

not easy figuring out what is what. I have downloaded the 0.3 VIP with the 0.3 hotfix, but no luck. No option to play Norway from the beginning I am afraid
You start as Sweden, go to the diplomatic screen and select to release satellite, Norway should be the only option available.
My mistake. I didnt overwrite the VIP mod in VIC REV root folder. Now I can play as Norway. Something tells me the Norway/Sweden union will be short lived
