Playing the game for 10 years, just found out you can play ironman on normal difficulty

Always have been playing on hard difficulty, because i thought i is required to earn achivements. I just want to share how pissed i am, and that i need to get drunk

What if I tell you that you can even play ironman on (very) easy difficulty and with mods and without lucky nations and with random setup. The only things which ironman does is to disable console commands and to prevent loading saves from within the game and restrict you to one save game and one backup save and automatically save the game when you exit normally.

But to get achievements you need to fulfill further conditions(e.g. at least normal difficulty).
