I already own Stellaris via GOG, and I linked it to my Paradox account yesterday in preparation of getting all the DLC through the same site. However, everything is only two quid more expensive on the Steam sale, and comes with an entire new copy of the game! If I owned two copies, that could be amazing as I could set up one copy on my partner's PC and she could play against me! However, would I need to attach the Steam version to a new account? Or could both versions be attached to this account, and I'd still be able to play with both of them?

I'm already helping you with this in a ZenDesk ticket.
